¡Hola y bienvenidos! I am Eliza - a Romanian traveler, teacher and Mexican history enthusiast. I lived in Mexico City on and off from 2011 to 2019, and from the day I moved there as an EFL teacher, I knew Mexico was not going to be just another country I was passing through. I had traveled and lived abroad before, but it was the first time a foreign country felt so inexplicably familiar and I could say it took almost no effort to adapt. Many years later, I still call Mexico 'my second home' and I am still learning about it with an ever-growing enthusiasm.
